THROWS COACH FLORIDA

Personal Background

 

The throwscoachflorida.com website is a medium for a number of purposes, firstly it advertises the services as a coach that I offer potential clients, secondly it is intended to act as the central point of communication to all the athletes who throw in Florida and thirdly, an information point about future events that are going to happen, and a results service for those that have passed. As I develop the website it can also have technical articles accessible, videos of Florida throwers, links to other throws sites in the USA and in other countries around the world all download/upload able.

 

Up until very recently I was employed as the Track and Field Coordinator at the National Training Center in Clermont Florida. Previous to that, I was employed for 25 years delivering and supporting  throws and jumps coaching, track facility management and track and field (British Athletics/Scottish Athletics) and governing body administration.

• Record Holder, Indoor Shot Put/Outdoor Shot and Discus 

  throw at Murray State University USA

 

• Throws and Jumps Coach – Murray State University &  

  Southern Illinois University

 

The above has taken me to Commonwealth/European/World Championships and Olympic Games as an athlete , a  coach, or enthusiastic supporter of track and field, but more importantly has given me the opportunity to work with national and international standard throwers and their coaches, this is the experience I will bring to coaching athletes in Florida, and making throwscoachflorida.com a medium that is dedicated to the art, science and passion of throwing
